Re-Instated 3……..

After the models
trickery…….

leading lion to
crate
releasing him
to respect their
humanity
,
he allows them to
walk side
by side
take rides
together

the flat land
the wind
streams through
and moves the mountains
moves the models

and the lion

in words only
pride can describe
a solo song
when a group has
disbanded

the tiger returns
when the lion
sleeps

learns to walk
with the models
they learn to leave
their masks on the flat
desert floor

Until Morning…..

when models wake
fear huddles
seeing lioness
lying at their
fronts

lion trotting
back towards mountain

they know order has
been re-instated
the king is dead
the queen has returned

the models strike a pose
stillness of the mood
strikes the morning

lioness yawns

grins
