the farm birds

they move as a globe
one large
bubble from the straw
of a
child
a great current
an ocean wave in the
deep sky
they, their own
world
proving it can be
flat
that the waters
run down
falling into space
thousands
diving back
into
fields –
tractors leaving the
road
pulling to a jump
into gravel
drive
startle them
back into
sky
their world,
these sky divers
and astronauts
scuba divers
showing me
they can
live in all 3 naturally
understanding
what we
can only explore
in an
observation
wonder
