Meatheads (Except for one)

i
am trying
to
find out who
the
hell Carol
Walley is
or was
as
an artist.
a
beautiful dark painting
has been
found in this
house
and it speaks
to
me louder
than
words.
i do some research
and find
little,
learn the piece has
traveled
from Whitehorse.
so,
hedging bets
that
maybe she was from
there,
we send emails
to
some local gallery’s.
through
another search
online
we find a lead
in
Minnesota.

nothing

but that’s not what pisses me off

it’s
been the answer
given
by
each
gallery,
which proves to me
that
snobbery whether
by local
or unknown or
large world
known,
each art gallery is basically the same

‘do not know the name, do some research online….’
