It was fun,
getting the guy wound up
him,
writing his spiritual
pomes all day

pomes – not- poems

reacting in such
fashion,
getting him to swear

kerouac rythym

the dead fly approach
hoping to
dazzle the
un-read
the zombie of
literature

california-bum style-buk

one hand on the
bible,
swear to tell the
truth,

when

truth be told,
behind the 1,000 miles
and faceless courage
anyone
can put
one hand on the
bible,
and before the
judge sees,
shoot a look
and mumble a word

no one is going to hear
and composure
is kept with the
masses

like a dirty secret

returning safely
back into
the
faceless
crowd
