Gilmour (while you hold Shelia Heti’s sweet book)

david’s transcript is
online now
his complete interview
with the
female journalist

either she can play coy
or she doesn’t
realize, he was
humoring her

no great cndn writers
he says
especially in the female category

no men of men
like mordecai with
his own font
or purdy with a
splinter in his heart

david sure likes his
armani jacket
and he’s fairly proud
of his award-winning
man hood

and that’s great

i knew an old man in our parish

he used to say,
‘that feller there….
he’s a great guy, just a great guy

you know,
he is kind of a jerk’
