ask charlie

what do i do when i’m not listening to jazz?

i scratch the back of my head and ask,

where is the

jazz?

where is my

cat?

what happened to the club on

7th ave s?

i must always hear jazz
one must
be sober to play it
in order to
hear it,

substance abuse does not help
it hurts what i love to
hear

ask Charlie
he’ll tell you, it
wasn’t about the

jazz

it was about something else
and when it
was about something else
he too, asked

where is the

jazz

?
