When Neil and Eddie sit down to do it…..

how do you play a poem

how do you write a poem

as a jam or as a riff,
playing it out like a guitar
just strumming waiting for
the other band members to
join in

and they do

and you write and jam

no words are said
but the poem is beautiful

you become the grandfather
or godfather of the
genre and new icons want
to play with you
just to hear you jam and
join in, so
they can create the same
magic, watching how
you do it so

the page is blank
it isn’t

and a what a poem you
just played

what a poem you just wrote

just put out there in the moment…
