classroom desks have been sat upright
cars are rolled off roofs, and back on 4-wheels
the ocean has receded and L.A is visible
skies are clear again
and trailers are moving back into tornado alley.

ireland crawls under the blankets
quebec backs away from the border
iran and iraq…..
‘murica, stands at the ready.

there is more love in you, than this
world knows how to handle…..

and
you keep my world from destroying itself.

i hate it when you are treated poorly my love

but before the storms comes to a full head
i realize-
i need you in this world

i need you in this world
i need you in this world
i need you in this world
i need you in this world
i need you in this world
i……….
