since the 80’s, now in its/her 30’s

a spoiled brat
needed to have her tix
taken away
‘you’re not going to the show honey’

was the behaviour
-but i think,
even the removal of ‘fun’
would not have
sunk in

‘she just doesn’t see it’


you’re right
we’d still be at fault

the spoiled brat has grown up
become a spoiled brat
who doesn’t see the ripple
-broken through the shell and
now terrorizes the city

with smoke from her nose

fire off her lips

-‘honey, i think,
those tix shoulda been taken away
a scolding or a slap
should have occurred,
this town can’t handle anymore

just look at downtown….
