the door(s) have closed the window(s) have opened…..but enough to let in oxygen is not enough to make a life with

i need bread
and
i need bread

bread for work-week sandwich meat
bread for sunday night bruschetta
and
bread for which to buy it all with

i have been today to
church
received the bread of life
and i’m writing
some poetry today
hoping it will earn me some
bread in the
near
future

i need bread that won’t go stale
all of it consumption based
all of it
substance based
