yer shit bags

the trail out cutting through Stirling
old railway system
passing through Tweed into Northern
west to Hamilton and behind
old Corktown apartment
lost in the
Niagara escarpment
to the coal mines
hwy 7.

yer shit bags

yer dog shit bags
tied in trees just meters off the trail

thankyou kind people for your shit
tied in grocery bags and tied
to trees

if it weren’t for these markers

i’d wouldn’t know my way home
way was east or

Tweed or Stirling
or Hamilton

between corn field
and house rows

between Cndn shield
and bodies of water

between civilization
and lost

Over the past 4 years, Durkin has been on hiatus for the most part but has recently come back to the poetry scene creating a poetry site called, where in the past year he has written over 100 poems and created a cross over page on where he gives a story behind each of the pieces written.
