don’t waste a good book on a closed mind

write when you’re brain dead
re write ideas
repeat yourself. Re-
gurgitate themes
but
don’t read.
Your mind is a dry desert
words wash over
but don’t sink
in.

skip the writer’s block
and force yourself to write something
even if it’s only publishable
on
a blog.

But wait for the mind to re-
open
before you get back into reading
-reading is the most
important tool you carry as a writer
so don’t waste the day
trying to plug a square hole with a
round peg.

just write
write
r

e

WRITE

until the mind gives up and the body wants to sleep.

You’ll thank yourself in the morning.
