i’m standing around
in the middle of another crime scene.
people doing their job
camera’s flashing
the van waiting outside to confirm
certain things…..

i wish there was a different way to look at things

i may use my little black book to take
down my observations

i wish there was still another way…

bring in David Collier
let him
stand in the middle of the living room
him stand beside me
and just let
him do his thing
sketch away the small things he
might see
in a different way.

maybe then i could look away

maybe then…
