endless here after

you can not have music without art
nor art without music

it teaches you to read and write
to witness the marvels around

a dragonfly with individual wings
an umbrella catching rain in England
leaving a burial site and knowing life

you can not paint without sketching
nor sketch before the brush strokes

the eyes mind
minds eye

the eye of God

so i will paint you in the trees
write you in the water ways
your physical presence around everything i see
the individual movement of tree and limb

and when heaven
and if heaven

calls me home

I hope God will say-

‘here is the art gallery
here is the library
here are the cities in eons
here is the wilderness undisturbed
here is your loved one(s) forever more

he are your dragon flies
let your flight begin’

endless opportunity to care for and work on it a while longer

and care taking

the poorest on the street
will sit at this round table

-in heavens art – we will be equals once more…..
