baby – let’s keep canada united

she wants me to let her sleep but i can not

‘i haven’t seen you in coon’s age’

WHAT IS THIS ANIMAL YOU SPEAK OF?

her broken french accent -Quebec with a hint of Ottawa Valley

‘baby’ i say – ‘i need to remember you too much right now to let you sleep’

but still she is questioning

WHAT IS THIS POOR ANIMAL YOU SPOKE OF?

‘forget it baby – just let go of the pillow and hug me one more time’

and she smiles
and she let’s go of the pillow
and she hugs me like a tiger
and i keep this moment alive for a night time

for a life time….
