Black white Red yellow Brown

we are far more interested in being entertained
than we are in self discovery

and the world goes round
repeating the same calendar of mistakes
rotating inside a new generation of intellect
wanting only what is sexy

like hollywood on the world stage
we have no new story lines to bring forth

the box office trumps the plot holes
the hero is pulled apart in the phone booth
the european escape becomes the syrian refugee
a George Wallace stands on the steps of acceptance

live your life with humble fulfilment
whether it’s our generation or the next – time will eventually catch up…

…and the definition of insanity will still be misunderstood
