St. Pope John Paul

Pope John Paul

your hand from the window
drawn back into your prayer room

for even a nano second
let me stand inside there with you

Mary and St. Joseph

a Vatican in heaven?
beautiful as the painted drawing room of Matisse?

i’m realizing things
this traveling to an ocean side apartment

it’s not so i can travel to the extravagant
but so i can discover my own prayer room

and in this tiny bedroom i do
your hand – from heaven

for a nano second….
a lifetime of prayers are said…
