The river moves with or without you…..

the lonely window
-how do you think it feels
and when do you think it stops

staring out at the unknown
unable to compete
two toes in the water pulled out
-current leaving me behind on the shoreline

the Trent Severn completes its course
boats from around the world
and what is my world
where does it stop
– when was i let off

this lonely window
i know how it feels – the breeze
when will this breeze – the breeze
when do you think…..

*How do you think it feels/when do you think it stops: Lou Reed lyrics from the song ‘how do you think it feels’ from the album BERLIN…

* The Trent–Severn Waterway is a 386 km long canal connecting Lake Ontario at Trenton to Lake Huron at Port Severn
