In Preparation Of…..

Ontario
let’s pick up the trees
move to the northern bay
not too far out of state
just a place in mind where it’s you and me for a while
a provincial wonderment
and the art of herself is in the wooded night
no one talking about anything except that God must be here

Ontario
it’s all in a day trip
24 hours to become the outskirt
cross a border 3x over afterwards
shake hands with lost related ideas of friendship
paddle the references of escape
no one here but you and me
– what a crowded room

Ontario
we’ll order in our mail
order out our meals
stay on base or around a lake
rent a cottage with morning coffee
evening tea
pretend nothing is less than more
when there’s more of this quiet solitude
-where there’s more…..
