an honesst question

i wonder if he’d been accepted
and i’d had been the leader
would art be little now
but the world a better world?

it’s the age of the empires falling
Romans to the new americas
and we don’t need the native word
and the natives don’t need to leave again

but i wonder if i’d been accepted
and he a better painter
would art mean less now
the world a little happier

* I wonder if he’d been accepted/and i’d been the leader:

a semi quote by Oskar Kokoschka (Oskar Kokoschka (1 March 1886 – 22 February 1980) was an Austrian artist, poet and playwright best known for his intense expressionistic portraits and landscapes) was known to ask in passing after WW2 about himself vs Adolf Hitler.

While Kokoschka went on to be a well known and accepted painter of his era – Hitler was of course rejected and went on to lead the Nazi party.
